dc.descriptionIn elementary school, the subject of mathematics is a major reason why teachers and students have difficulties in achieving the learning objectives, since children believe that the subject is complex, and therefore do not always participate or show interest, so they do not pay due attention in class and consequently obtain poor academic results. Thus, the objective of the present work is to analyze a didactic strategy for teaching mathematics to 4th year EGB students of the Juan E. Verdesoto Educational Unit in the city of Babua, Bolivia. Verdesoto of the city of Babahoyo 2022 - 2023, for this a methodology under the qualitative approach has been considered, applying the type of explanatory research, and as a technique of data collection an interview directed to the teacher in charge of the 4th year EGB of the institution, The result was that most of the children have problems with multiplication and are not very participative in class compared to other subjects, so the teacher indicated that the main goal of the application of a didactic strategy will be to achieve greater enthusiasm on the part of the children and thus better understand the class. Based on all the research carried out, it is concluded that it is prudent to apply a collaborative work strategy, organizing groups among students, making there is a change of pace in the day and interest in the subject.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn la escuela primaria, la asignatura de matemáticas es una de las principales razones por las que docentes y alumnos hayan dificultades para alcanzar los objetivos de aprendizaje, puesto que los niños mantienen la creencia de que la materia es compleja, y por tanto no siempre se muestran participativos, ni con interés, por lo que no prestan la debida atención en la clase y consecuentemente obtienen malos resultados académicos. De este modo, en el presente trabajo se tiene como objetivo analizar una estrategia didáctica para la enseñanza de matemáticas en los estudiantes de 4to año EGB de la Unidad Educativa Juan E. Verdesoto de la ciudad de Babahoyo 2022 – 2023, para ello se ha considerado una metodología bajo el enfoque cualitativo, aplicando el tipo de investigación explicativa, y como técnica de recolección de datos una entrevista dirigida a la docente a cargo del 4to año EGB de la institución, obteniendo como resultado que los niños en su mayoría tienen problemas con la multiplicación y no suelen ser muy participativos en la clase a comparación de otras asignaturas, por lo que la docente indicó que con la aplicación de una estrategia didáctica lo principal será lograr un mayor entusiasmo de parte de los niños y así comprender mejor la clase. En base a toda la investigación realizada, se concluye indicando que es prudente la aplicación de una estrategia de trabajo colaborativo, organizando grupos entre estudiantes, haciendo que haya cambio de ritmo en la jornada e interés por la asignatura.es_ES
