dc.description | Quality of work life aims to focus on the well-being of the employee, focused on the ways they perceive their work environment. According to some authors, the work environment can directly influence the work performance of employees, as well as that there is a good relationship with their superior, their colleagues and a comfortable and pleasant work environment to perform efficiently and effectively in the development of their activities. The general objective of this study is based on determining in a documentary way the approaches, elements and expectations of the quality of life of the employees of the administrative area at the Technical University of Babahoyo in order to guide the management of the quality of work life in the institution of higher education.
In this sense, the proposed methodology was based on a non-experimental design with a type of applied research because it allows the use of existing knowledge, mixed due to the combination of techniques that can be used and causal explanatory because the causes and effects that occur in the investigation. The main instrument used in the research for data collection was the survey directed at the administrative staff of the Technical University of Babahoyo. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | La calidad de vida laboral tiene como objetivo enfocarse en el bienestar del empleado, centrado desde los modos que percibe su ambiente de trabajo, según algunos autores el entorno en el trabajo puede influir de forma directa en el desempeño laboral de los empleados, así como también que exista una buena relación con su superior, sus compañeros y un entorno de trabajo cómodo y agradable para desempeñarse de forma eficiente y eficaz en el desarrollo de sus actividades. El objetivo general de este estudio se base en determinar de forma documental los enfoques, elementos y expectativas de la calidad de vida de los empleados del área administrativa en la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo con el fin de orientar la gestión de la calidad de vida laboral en la institución de educación superior.
En este sentido la metodología planteada se basó en un diseño no experimental con un tipo de investigación aplicada porque permite utilizar conocimientos existentes, mixta por la combinación de técnicas que se pueden utilizar y explicativa causal porqué se evidenciará las causas y efectos que se producen en la investigación. Como instrumento principal que se utilizó en la investigación para la recolección de datos fue la encuesta dirigida al personal administrativo de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo. | es_ES |
