dc.description | This case study focuses on a 32-year-old male patient diagnosed with peripheral facial paralysis. Peripheral facial paralysis is a condition that affects the muscles on one side of the face due to damage to the facial nerve. The main objective of this case is to describe the physiotherapy intervention to address this condition. The physical therapy treatment plan includes initial evaluation, patient education, facial exercise therapy, temporomandibular joint mobilization, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, facial massage, and emotional support. Each of these components seeks to improve muscle function, reduce weakness and promote patient recovery. The physiotherapy intervention is personalized according to the individual needs of the patient and works in conjunction with other possible medical treatments. Rehabilitation aims to improve the quality of life and facial function of the patient affected by peripheral facial paralysis. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
