dc.description | Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is one of the most frequent clinical conditions that occur in the upper extremity, affecting 3% of the adult population. And it is due to a compression which affects the median nerve, which gives rise to sensory clinical manifestations such as paresthesia and pain, the main ones, and motor impairment that gives rise to the loss of strength in the muscles that are innervated by this nervous network. We can distinguish different degrees of severity, which increases with age. Although most cases are idiopathic, there are factors that increase the risk of suffering from this pathology. The diagnosis of this pathology is purely clinical, but we have complementary tests that help us confirm this syndrome. The objective of this study is to provide a bibliographic review and at the same time provide a guide to the approach and management of physiotherapy in this type of patients in order to provide an adequate recovery and improve the quality of life of the users. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
