dc.descriptionIntroduction: Influence of vision problems present research development in the Paquisha Educational Institution is carried out from 5 to 11 years old. School learning is a problem that occurs at different educational levels. Objective: Analyze the relationship between vision problems and the academic performance of schoolchildren from 5 to 11 years old at the 'Paquisha' Educational Institution, Puebloviejo Canton - Los Ríos, during the period from June to October 2023. Methodology: Quantitative methodologies and a prospective observational analytical study were used. The type of research to be used was descriptive, prospective cross-sectional, because it describes the types of vision problems within the “Paquisha” Educational Institution. Results: Vision problems in children from 9 to 10 years old with 60%, predominantly male sex, female sex 40%, with 72% do not use glasses, 28% do, children between 5 to 10 years old (6) have a history familiar with 25%, the most frequent symptomatology was eye fatigue with 42%, 50% presented poor School Learning. Conclusion: Most of the studies, children presented a high percentage of Strabismus 56%, Astigmatism 25%, Hyperopia 10%, Myopia 9%, vision problems, main factors affecting the quality of vision of School Children.es_ES

dc.description.abstractIntroducción: El trabajo tiene la necesidad de investigar la influencia de los problemas visión en el aprendizaje en ñiños escolares 5-11 años. Objetivo: Analizar la relación entre los problemas de visión y el rendimiento académico de los niños escolares de 5 a 11 años en la Institución Educativa ‘Paquisha’, Cantón Puebloviejo – Los Ríos, durante el periodo de Junio a Octubre de 2023. Metodología: Se utilizó la metodologías cuantitativa y un estudio analítico observacional prospectivo. El tipo de investigación a utilizar fue descriptivo, prospectivo transversal, porque describe los tipos de problemas de visión dentro en la Institución Educativa “Paquisha”. Resultados: Problemas de visión en niños de 9 a 10 años con el 60%, predominando el sexo masculino sexo femenino 40% , con el 72% no utilizan lentes el 28% si , los niños entre 5 a 10 años (6) presentan antecedente familiar con el 25%, la sintomatología de mayor frecuencia fue por fatiga ocular con el 42%, el 50% presenta bajo Aprendizaje Escolar. Conclusiones: La mayoría de los estudios niños presentaron alto porcentaje de Estrabismo 56% , 25 % Astigmatismo, 10% Hipermetropía, 9% miopía, problemas de visión principales factores afectan la calidad visual en el aprendizaje de los estudianteses_ES
