dc.description | Hematuria is the presence of blood in the urine. It can be seen with the naked eye or even not, only through laboratory tests. Its causes can vary caused by some trauma or refer to some pathology. In the presence of hematuria in considerable amounts, a doctor should be consulted immediately. However, blood in the urine can be a warning sign of a health problem. When there is hematuria due to trauma, this occurs due to the impact that occurs in some renal structure, hematuria can be a sign of some problem, but nevertheless it does not directly correlate with the degree of the lesion since in some studies a percentage of patient does not have hematuria. Its diagnosis is based on a simple urine test, cystoscopy, computed tomography, abdominal ultrasound. Depending on the cause, as in this case caused by trauma and its clinical picture, the doctor will perform one or more tests to determine the origin of the hematuria. Whether treatment depends on the cause of blood in urine. This can be diagnosed by a thorough search for signs and symptoms, your medical history, physical examination, and complementary tests. The objective of this study is the application of the nursing care process, in addition to applying the functional patterns of Marjory Gordon, to know real or potential problems that the patient has. Through the NANDA, NIC, NOC taxonomies, the relevant nursing diagnoses were selected, as well as the nursing care necessary for the patient's recovery. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
