| dc.description | The development of this clinical case was based on the nursing care process in an older adult patient diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia, in which the general objective was to apply the nursing care process in an older adult patient diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia. It is important to point out that leukemia is known as a type of cancer that affects blood cells, specifically leukocytes, and is characterized by an inadequate production of these malignant cells in the bone marrow, which leads to the reduction of other normal blood cells. Based on the results, in the development of this clinical case, the clinical complexity of the patient was evidenced where severe symptoms such as fever, disorientation, unconsciousness are linked, where it suggests a medical and dangerous condition. The presence of cancer in the patient is an additional process in terms of the complexity of the case. In conclusion, it was possible to apply the nursing care process effectively in the case of this adult patient with the diagnosis of lymphoblastic leukemia, relevant assessments were performed where altered function patterns were identified, and nursing interventions were performed to meet the patient's needs. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el desarrollo de este caso clínico se basó en el proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente adulto mayor con diagnóstico de leucemia linfoblástica en el cual se aplicó como objetivo general; aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería en paciente adulto mayor con diagnóstico de leucemia linfoblástica. Es importante indicar que la leucemia es conocido como un tipo de cáncer que genera una afectación a las células sanguíneas en específico a los leucocitos, se particulariza por una inadecuada producción de estas células malignas en la médula ósea, lo que conlleva a la reducción de otras células sanguíneas normales. En base a los resultados, en el desarrollo de este caso clínico se evidenció la complejidad clínica del paciente donde se vinculan síntomas graves como fiebre, desorientación, inconsciencia, donde sugiere una condición médica y peligrosa. La presencia del cáncer que tiene el paciente es un proceso adicional en cuanto a la complejidad del caso. En conclusión, se logró aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería de forma efectiva en el caso de este paciente adulto con el diagnóstico de la leucemia linfoblástica, se realizaron evaluaciones pertinentes donde se identificaron patrones funciones alterados y se realizaron las intervenciones de Enfermería para cubrir las necesidades del paciente. | es_ES |
