dc.description | Colon cancer has taken an important position at the health level since in developed countries it already occupies second place in the neoplasms that are most frequently diagnosed, in turn in our specific area, Ecuador occupies fourth place for what it is diagnosed in advanced stages since in the first place the patient does not seek help in decisive times. Added to this is that little by little in our area the consumption of fiber has been decreasing and the consumption of carbohydrates has increased, to this we add the sedentary lifestyle, the overweight and obesity, which is why we have seen it necessary to carry out our case study in order to educate the population. In the present clinical case we study a 43-year-old patient with a diagnosis of colon cancer at the sigmoid level, which is one of the areas with the highest incidence of its presentation, and we seek to adequately carry out the intervention. nursing that will allow the needs to be met from admission to the hospital stay until discharge. The results we have obtained have been thanks to the comprehensive management and timely diagnosis through the initial assessment of our patient. Once stable, it is possible to refer them to follow-up by specialty. oncology for subsequent management according to his situation, the planned interventions were appropriate and executed in a timely manner for the resolution of our patient's symptoms and he was discharged without any complications. In this clinical case we describe in detail the nursing diagnoses, the interventions carried out by nursing and the evolution of our patient based on the interventions that we as nurses have carried out. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El cáncer de colon a tomado un puesto importante a nivel salud ya que en los países desarrollados ya ocupa el segundo lugar en las neoplasias que con mayor frecuencia son diagnosticadas a su vez en nuestra zona en especifico Ecuador ocupa el cuarto lugar esto a que es diagnosticado en etapas avanzadas ya que en primer lugar el paciente no busca ayuda en tiempos determinantes a esto se le suma que poco a poco en nuestra zona el consuma de fibra ah ido disminuyendo y aumentado el consumo de carbohidratos, a esto le sumamos el sedentarismo, el sobrepeso y la obesidad, por lo que hemos visto necesario realizar nuestro estudio de caso con el fin de educar a ,la población. En el presente caso clínico se estudiamos a un paciente de 43 años de edad con diagnóstico de Cáncer de colon a nivel de sigmoides, que es una de las zonas con mayor incidencia de presentación del mismo, y en buscamos realizar de manera adecuada las intervenciones de enfermería que permitirán satisfacer las necesidades desde su ingreso a la estancia hospitalaria hasta su alta, los resultados que hemos obtenido han sido gracias al manejo integral y diagnostico oportuno mediante la valoración inicial de nuestro paciente, una vez estable se logra derivar a seguimiento por especialidad de oncología para su posterior manejo acorde a su situación, las intervenciones planificadas fueron las adecuadas y ejecutadas de manera oportuna para la resolución de la clínica de nuestro paciente se le otorga el alta sin ninguna complicaciones. Este caso clínico describimos a detalle los diagnósticos de enfermería, las intervenciones realizadas por enfermería y la evolución de nuestro paciente en base a las intervenciones que como enfermeros hemos realizado. | es_ES |
