Adolescents face a great challenge such as the beginning of their sexual and reproductive health; choosing the appropriate method is when the couple is informed. The use of emergency contraception is indicated in some situations, but not as a daily method and the only method that prevents the spread of sexually transmitted infections is the condom. There is still great controversy about promoting the proper use of contraceptive methods in our adolescents and that they attend family planning consultations, whether public or private. It is of great importance that adolescence is adequately informed about these methods either through digital platforms as well as with educational and didactic programs with the participation not only of institutional educators but also of parents, teachers, media and the population community. In this research project we use the deductive method because it allows us to collect information that is deduced from general information, the most specific and qualitative way, because it is based on collecting data through databases and surveys.es_ES
