dc.description | This case study examines the manual enrollment management system at the Comprehensive Center for the Promotion and Employment of Women (CIPEM) located in the Babahoyo Canton. The main objective is to analyze the current challenges that CIPEM faces in its enrollment process, identify the needs perceived by staff and students, and evaluate the technological solutions available to improve the efficiency of the system. Challenges identified include a slow enrollment process that takes up to 5 days, a 15% error rate in registrations, and 25% dissatisfaction among students. These issues negatively impact student experience and administrative efficiency. Needs perceived by staff and students include automation of the enrollment process, implementation of an electronic document management system, and improvements in communication during the process. Several technological solutions were evaluated, such as Online Enrollment Management Systems (LMS), Process Automation Software (BPM), Electronic Document Management Software (DMS) and Student-Institution Communication Platforms. Each of these solutions offers opportunities to improve efficiency and student satisfaction. Recommendations include implementing an LMS for automation of enrollment, training staff, promoting student adoption, continuous monitoring and evaluation, implementing a DMS, and improving communication. This study provides a solid foundation for the modernization of the enrollment management system at the CIPEM of Babahoyo and highlights the importance of technology in improving efficiency and student satisfaction. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
