dc.description | Currently, Administrative Management and clinical laboratories are involved in the technological era. After analyzing the current situation of the Unilab Clinical Laboratory located in the 4 de Mayo neighborhood of Babahoyo, it has been identified that their manual administrative processes are generating significant deficiencies in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and patient satisfaction. These deficiencies include delays in scheduling appointments and failures in result delivery, negatively impacting the quality of care provided. Therefore, it is recommended to implement modern technological solutions such as an online appointment scheduling system and an automated data capture system. The online scheduling system will allow patients to conveniently book appointments, reduce time and resources dedicated to manual scheduling, and improve the patient experience. The automated data capture system will enable direct input of examination results from laboratory equipment to the data management system, eliminating human errors and improving result accuracy and integrity. These improvements will optimize administrative processes, provide more efficient and reliable care, and enhance the quality of care and patient satisfaction at Unilab Clinical Laboratory. It is worth noting that the objective of this research is to analyze automation of administrative processes, as the laboratory currently lacks it and relies on manual methods of information handling. dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad la Gestión Administrativa y los laboratorios clínicos se ven envueltos en la era tecnológica. Después de analizar la situación actual del Laboratorio Clínico Unilab ubicado en la Ciudadela 4 de mayo de Babahoyo, se ha identificado que sus procesos administrativos manuales están generando deficiencias significativas en términos de eficiencia, precisión y satisfacción del paciente. Estas deficiencias incluyen demoras en el agendamiento de citas, fallos en la entrega de resultados, lo cual impacta negativamente la calidad de atención brindada. Por lo tanto, se recomienda implementar soluciones tecnológicas modernas, como un sistema de agendamiento de citas en línea y un sistema de captura de datos automatizado. El sistema de agendamiento en línea permitirá a los pacientes programar citas de manera conveniente, reduciendo el tiempo y recursos dedicados a la programación manual, y mejorando la experiencia del paciente. El sistema de captura de datos automatizado permitirá ingresar los resultados de los exámenes directamente desde los equipos de laboratorio al sistema de gestión de datos, eliminando errores humanos y mejorando la precisión y la integridad de los resultados. Estas mejoras optimizarán los procesos administrativos, brindarán una atención más eficiente y confiable, y mejorarán la calidad de atención y la satisfacción del paciente en el Laboratorio Clínico Unilab. Se puede recalcar que el objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la automatización de los procesos administrativos debido a que actualmente el laboratorio no cuenta con el mismo y utiliza métodos manuales para el manejo de la información, por lo cual al manejar automatización permitirá agilizar sus procesos administrativos. | es_ES |
