This study focused on determining the relationship between the quality of water for human consumption and the transmission of intestinal parasites in children aged 5 to 12 years from the Pimocha parish, Babahoyo canton, during the period June - October 2023. An investigation was carried out. field, exploratory, descriptive, transversal, using inductive-deductive methods. The sample was made up of 40 children from the Pimocha parish. The unstructured scientific observation technique, documentary analysis, and survey were applied. The physical-chemical and microbiological analysis of the water samples taken directly from the supply source of the minors' homes was also carried out, as well as coproparasitological examinations. The highest percentage of parasitized individuals was determined to be the male gender (60%) in contrast to the female gender (40%).es_ES
