| dc.description | The present work entitled "Lifestyles and their influence on high blood pressure in older adults treated at the IESS Babahoyo Hospital June - October 2023", arises considering that living conditions contribute significantly to minimizing negative effects on modern diseases. The objective was to determine the influence of lifestyles on high blood pressure in older adults treated at the IESS hospital in Babahoyo, for which a survey was planned for 132 patients who attended the medical center during a certain time. A qualitative - descriptive study was carried out, determining that blood pressure increases with age, these data show the importance of maintaining the intervention in terms of change in lifestyle, given the consequences for the patient's health, and that it can lead to terminal events. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo titulado “Estilos de vida y su influencia en la hipertensión arterial en adultos mayores atendidos en el Hospital IESS Babahoyo junio – octubre 2023”, surge considerando que las condiciones de vida contribuyen significativamente a minimizar efectos negativos en las enfermedades de la modernidad. Como objetivo se planteó determinar la influencia de los estilos de vida en la hipertensión arterial en adultos mayores atendidos en el hospital IESS de Babahoyo, para lo cual se planeó una encuesta a 132 pacientes que acudieron al centro médico durante un tiempo determinado. Se realizó un estudio cualitativo – descriptivo, determinando que la presión arterial aumenta con la edad, estos datos muestran la importancia de mantener la intervención en materia de cambio en el estilo de vida, dadas las consecuencias para la salud del paciente, y que puede conducir a eventos terminales. | es_ES |
