dc.description | In this document, reference is made to the Azospirillum bacteria as a biofertilizer for the growth of rice (Oryza sativa L.). The objective was to evaluate the value of the Azospirillum bacteria (Azospirillum spp.) for rice biofertilization. According to the findings, the genus Azospirillum is a class of Gram-negative bacteria that fix nitrogen, produce auxins, gibberellins and cytokinins, as well as siderophores and bacteriocins. Azospirillum bacteria induce plant growth, including the synthesis of hormones such as auxins (indole acetic acid), cytokinins, and abscisic acid. Therefore, it is necessary to choose a carrier that provides optimal conditions for bacteria to survive during storage and is also economical in creating liquid and solid media for mass production of these bacteria. Also included are the solubilization of phosphates, the fixation of atmospheric nitrogen and the synthesis of substances that inhibit the growth of phytopathogenic microorganisms, such as siderophores, chitinases and antibiotics. In relation to biofertilizers, a commercial movement has been created, and the production and marketing of these products aims to strengthen a sustainable production system and the ecological balance of the soil, totally or partially reducing the use of synthetic fertilizers. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
