dc.description | The research addresses the growing importance of data storage in business and home environments, highlighting the advantages of NAS (Network Attached Storage) technologies to address this challenge. It is noted that the lack of clear information about NAS makes it difficult to properly select this technology, which can have a negative impact on data storage performance and security. The study seeks to provide an objective comparative analysis of available NAS technologies and their benefits for both environments. It also focuses on identifying best practices and recommendations for optimizing storage strategies with NAS. It is noted that NAS is a cost-effective solution that offers easy access to data from multiple devices and enables effective collaboration. In addition, it is mentioned that it is essential in inventory management and business logistics, as well as in organization and efficiency in the domestic environment. The study recognizes differences between enterprise and home storage, but emphasizes the importance of NAS in both contexts. Additionally, the literature review methodology is highlighted as valuable for understanding the topic prior to additional empirical research. Finally, it is mentioned that QNAP and Synology are leading NAS brands, and choosing between them depends on individual needs and preferences. | es_ES |

Se señala que la falta de información clara sobre NAS dificulta la selección adecuada de esta tecnología, lo que puede tener un impacto negativo en el rendimiento y la seguridad del almacenamiento de datos. El estudio busca proporcionar un análisis comparativo objetivo de las tecnologías NAS disponibles y sus beneficios para ambos entornos. También se enfoca en identificar mejores prácticas y recomendaciones para optimizar estrategias de almacenamiento con NAS.
