dc.descriptionThis research work was carried out in the San Carlos parish, in which the media and its influence on the cultural information quality of the parish were investigated. The choice of this theme is due to the importance that the media have in today's society and its ability to shape the perceptions and attitudes of the population in relation to culture. The general objective is to determine the influence of the media on the cultural information quality of the San Carlos parish, as a hypothesis it is proposed that the media have a significant influence on the cultural information quality of the San Carlos parish, therefore both as the influence of the media increases, the quality of cultural information can be positive. The type of research used is documentary and field, likewise three methods were used: descriptive, analytical and explanatory. The population of the San Carlos parish is 10,028 according to the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses, selecting a sample of 384 people from the sectors Cooperative March 23, November 3 neighborhood and Santa Rosa neighborhood. The technique used is a survey applied in person with an instrument of 6 questions with multiple alternatives. The main conclusion of this study is that more than half of the population rates the cultural information received through the media they use as regular and bad, due to the lack of prominence of the local media in the diffusion of the cultural aspects that identify the parish of San Carlos, for this reason it is recommended to promote cultural education, the representatives of the parish can collaborate with local schools and universities to promote cultural education. This can include cultural exchange programs, workshops, classes, and activities for children and adults.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de investigación se desarrolló en la parroquia San Carlos, en la cual se investigó sobre los medios de comunicación y su influencia en la calidad informativa cultural de la parroquia. La elección de este tema se debe a la importancia que los medios de comunicación tienen en la sociedad actual y su capacidad para moldear las percepciones y actitudes de la población con relación a la cultura. Se plantea como objetivo general determinar la influencia de los medios de comunicación en la calidad informativa cultural de la parroquia San Carlos, como hipótesis se plantea que los medios de comunicación tienen una influencia significativa en la calidad informativa cultural de la parroquia San Carlos, por lo tanto a medida que aumenta la influencia de los medios de comunicación, la calidad informativa cultural puede ser positiva. El tipo de investigación empleada es documental y de campo, así mismo se utilizaron tres métodos el descriptivo, analítico y explicativo. La población de la de la parroquia San Carlos es de 10.028 según el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos, selecionando a una muestra de 384 personas de los sectores Cooperativa 23 de marzo barrio 3 de noviembre y barrio Santa Rosa. La técnica empleada es una encuesta aplicada de manera presencial con un instrumento de 6 preguntas con alternativas múltiples. La conclusión principal de este estudio se centra en que más de la mitad de la población califica a la información cultural recibida mediante los medios de comunicación que ellos utilizan como regular y mala, debido a la falta de protagonismo de los medios de comunicación local en la difusión de los aspectos culturales que identifican a la parroquia San Carlos, por esto se recomienda fomentar la educación cultural, los representantes de la parroquia puede colaborar con las escuelas y universidades locales para fomentar la educación cultural. Esto puede incluir programas de intercambio cultural, talleres, clases y actividades para niños y adultos.es_ES
