The case study presents as a study topic "Emotional dependence and its impact on mental health in a 17-year-old boy from the city of Babahoyo" which aims to determine how emotional dependence influences the mental health of the patient. , for this it was necessary to implement information collection techniques such as clinical interview, clinical observation, clinical history, in addition to the application of psychological instruments such as BDI II, MMPI 2, CDE, used to clarify the clinical hypothesis about the observed behavior, and the results of the techniques and instruments resulting in the diagnosis of F32.0 Moderate depressive episode, in conclusion the objective was achieved and to be able to help his patient to improve his quality of life. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La dependencia emocional es la necesidad patológica de sentirse reconocido y aceptado por otra persona, esta durante la adolescencia influye en gran manera en la salud mental, provocando la aparición de trastornos de conducta, emocionales como depresión o estrés, o incluso desarrollo trastornos de personalidad como trastorno dependiente de la personalidad, trastorno limite de la personalidad, o también trastornos obsesivos compulsivos. El estudio de caso presenta como tema de estudio “Dependencia emocional y su repercusión en la salud mental en un joven de 17 años de la ciudad de Babahoyo” la cual tiene como objetivo determinar de que manera influye la dependencia emocional en la salud mental del paciente, para esto fue necesario implementar técnicas de recolección de información como entrevista clínica, observación clínica, historia clínica, además de la aplicación de instrumentos psicológicos como BDI II, MMPI 2, CDE, utilizados para esclarecer la hipótesis clínica sobre la conducta observada, y los resultados de la técnicas e instrumentos dando como resultado el diagnostico de F32.0 Episodio depresivo moderado, en conclusión se logro cumplir el objetivo y poder ayudar a su paciente a mejorar su calidad de vida. | es_ES |
