dc.descriptionThe clinical case had as objective to develop a nutritional care process in a 68-year-old male patient with arterial hypotension and chronic kidney disease which consisted in analyzing biochemical data of the patient as well as verifying the stage of chronic kidney disease of the patient and elaborating a food plan for the 68-year-old male patient with arterial hypotension and chronic kidney disease, for this purpose an exploratory type of methodology was used which allowed the respective theoretical analyses such as the types of low blood pressure, causes and symptoms of hypotension, stages, symptoms, risk factors of chronic kidney disease as well as practical ones such as the analyses based on an anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary follow-up of the patient; stages, symptoms, risk factors of chronic kidney disease as well as practical analyses based on anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary follow-up of the patient. In concrete terms, the patient adhered to the dietary plan in an effective way in which it was possible to reduce some biochemical data that were elevated and eliminate clinical signs such as deficiencies of protein, biotin, iron, vitamin A, zinc and essential fatty acids; it was also verified that the patient was in stage 5 of chronic kidney disease.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl caso clínico tuvo como objetivo desarrollar un proceso de atención nutricional en paciente masculino de 68 años de edad con hipotensión arterial y enfermedad renal crónica la cual consistió en analizar datos bioquímicos del paciente así como también verificar la etapa de enfermedad renal crónica del paciente y elaborar un plan de alimentación para el paciente masculino de 68 años de edad con hipotensión arterial y enfermedad renal crónica, para ello se utilizó un tipo de metodología exploratoria que permitió que se realicen los respectivos análisis teóricos como los tipos de presión arterial baja, causas y síntomas de la hipotensión; estadios, síntomas, factores de riesgo de la enfermedad renal crónica así como también prácticos como los análisis basados en un seguimiento antropométrico, bioquímico, clínico y dietético del paciente. En términos concretos el paciente se adhirió al plan alimentario de una manera eficaz en el cual se logró disminuir algunos datos bioquímicos que estaban elevados y eliminar signos clínicos que presentaba como deficiencias de proteína, biotina, hierro, vitamina A, cinc y ácidos grasos esenciales; así mismo se verifico que el paciente se encontraba en una etapa 5 de enfermedad renal crónicaes_ES
