dc.description | This clinical case is based on the nutritional care process of a 55-year-old female patient with a colon tumor whose main objective is to carry out an adequate dietary-therapeutic treatment to reduce the patient's complications. Colon cancer develops in tissues of the colon or rectum, this occurs when there are changes in the DNA, known as mutations. Nutritional assessment is carried out by means of anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary indicators, their nutritional status is later diagnosed, informed consent is obtained to start treatment, and intervention is made according to nutritional needs with progressive tolerance diets. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente caso clínico se basa en el proceso de atención nutricional de una paciente femenina de 55 años de edad con tumor de colon cuyo objetivo fundamental es realizar un adecuado tratamiento dieto-terapéutico para disminuir las complicaciones de la paciente. El cáncer de colon se desarrolla en tejidos del colon o el recto, esto se presenta cuando existen cambios en el ADN, conocidos como mutaciones. Se realiza la valoración nutricional por medio de indicadores antropométrico, bioquímicos, clínicos y dietéticos, se diagnostica su estado nutricional posteriormente se obtiene el consentimiento informado para iniciar el tratamiento, y se interviene de acuerdo a las necesidades nutricionales con dietas progresivas de tolerancia. | es_ES |
