dc.description | This clinical case is a 40-year-old female patient with a medical diagnosis of hypertension and hypercholesterolemia. Cardiovascular diseases contribute an important risk factor in the increase in morbidity and mortality of people with hypertension and hypercholesterolemia. Objective: To improve the nutritional status of the patient with hypertension and hypercholesterolemia, the nutritional status is evaluated through anthropometric, biochemical, clinical/physical and dietary indicators, the nutritional diagnosis was made, a nutritional plan was intervened according to the needs of the patient prior to obtaining informed consent to start nutritional treatment, follow-up was carried out to monitor the previously evaluated indicators and significant changes were observed in anthropometric, biochemical, clinical/physical and dietary indicators. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | Este caso clínico se trata de una paciente de sexo femenino de 40 años de edad con diagnóstico médico de hipertensión e hipercolesterolemia. Las enfermedades cardiovasculares contribuyen un factor de riesgo importante en el aumento de la morbimortalidad de las personas que padecen hipertensión e hipercolesterolemia. Objetivo: Mejorar el estado nutricional de la paciente con hipertensión e hipercolesterolemia, se evalúa el estado nutricional por medio de indicadores antropométricos, bioquímicos, clínicos/físicos y dietéticos, se realizó el diagnóstico nutricional, se intervino con un plan nutricional de acuerdo a las necesidades de la paciente previa a la obtención del consentimiento informado para iniciar el tratamiento nutricional , se realizó el seguimiento para monitorear los indicadores antes evaluados y se observaron cambios significativos en los indicadores antropométricos, bioquímicos, clínicos/físicos y dietéticos. | es_ES |
