| dc.description | The application of the nursing care process improves the quality of health, and guarantees the recovery of patients suffering from this ailment (cholelithiasis). The nursing care process is recognized as a strategy, standard or methodological guide that allows all nursing professionals to have a universal language through the use of NANDA, NOC, NIC taxonomies. To achieve these objectives, the development of technical, scientific, and interpersonal skills is required, as well as reflective self-assessment, which has always been the forte of the professional nursing profession. Cholecystitis is inflammation of the gallbladder, in most cases it is caused by the presence of gallstones inside it, this pathology is defined as cholelithiasis or gallstones. For this reason, the purpose of the clinical case study was to apply a nursing care plan in a 40-year-old patient with cholelithiasis, thinking at all times of satisfying the most frequent health needs and problems during the onset of the disease. | dc.description.abstract | La aplicación del proceso de atención de enfermería mejora la calidad de la salud, y garantiza la recuperación de los pacientes que padecen esta dolencia (colelitiasis). Este proceso se reconoce como una estrategia, norma o guía metodológica que permite a todo profesional de enfermería contar con un lenguaje universal mediante el uso de las taxonomías NANDA, NOC, NIC. Para el logro de estos objetivos se requiere el desarrollo de competencias técnicas, científicas, interpersonales además de la autoevaluación reflexiva lo cual siempre ha sido el fuerte del gremio profesional de enfermería. La colecistitis es la inflamación de la vesícula biliar, en la mayoría de los casos se origina por la presencia de cálculos biliares en el interior de esta, a esta patología se la define también como litiasis biliar. El estudio de caso clínico tuvo por finalidad aplicar un plan de cuidados de enfermería a un paciente de 40 años con colelitiasis, dirigido a satisfacer las necesidades y problemas de salud más frecuentes durante la aparición de la enfermedad.
