dc.description | Faced with a society that has evolved, education and academia need to be transformed to meet the expectations of a new and developed society, in which changes arise day by day and which because of this becomes more complex and, therefore, the teaching-learning process must also progress according to the demands of the general public. The learning environments must provide the students of the educational centers; the necessary conditions that allow problematizing, discovering, understanding, motivating and assimilating situations or educational content and daily life from their own perspectives. Learning environments must provide students with essential elements that promote teaching that stimulates the development of valuable skills and competencies throughout their lives, both personally and educationally. dc.description.abstract | Ante una sociedad que ha evolucionado, la educación y la academia necesita transformarse para cumplir con las expectativas de una nueva y desarrollada sociedad, en la que día a día surgen cambios y que a razón de esto se vuelve más compleja y que, por tanto, el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje igualmente debe progresar conforme a las exigencias de la ciudadanía en general. Los ambientes de aprendizaje deben proporcionar a los y las estudiantes de los centros educativos; las condiciones necesarias que permitan problematizar, descubrir, comprender, motivar y asimilar situaciones o contenidos educativos y de la vida diaria desde sus propias perspectivas. Los ambientes de aprendizaje deben proporcionar a los estudiantes, elementos esenciales, que propicien una enseñanza que estimule el desarrollo de habilidades y competencias valiosas para toda su vida, tanto en lo personal como en lo educativo. El objetivo del presente estudio de caso es conocer como el ambiente de aprendizaje influye en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de cuarto y quinto curso de la Unidad Educativa Adolfo María Astudillo de la ciudad de Babahoyo del periodo académico 2022.
