Abuso sexual y su impacto emocional en una adolescente del cantón Montalvo

| dc.description | Sexual abuse is a worldwide problem that affects children and adolescents, as sexual abuse is known as any act that goes from constant sexual harassment to rape. Unwanted insinuations or proposals are part of the abuse, the victims of this traumatic event develop psychological, physical and social consequences. For this reason, the feeling of investigating what is the incidence of sexual abuse in the emotional impact in a 19-year-old adolescent in the Montalvo canton is awakened? Having as main objective of this case study to determine the incidence of sexual abuse and its emotional impact on an adolescent in order to expose how her mental health is altered. The adolescent shows signs and symptoms of developing a depressive picture according to the results obtained in the clinical history report, where all the relevant information is established to determine a possible diagnosis. Through the application of psychometric batteries, it was obtained that there is a moderate level of depression in the adolescent due to having provoked a traumatic event of such intensity, all this is reaffirmed with the indicators expressed by the adolescent through her speech. It concludes by establishing the relationship that exists between sexual abuse and the emotional impact on the 19-year-old adolescent from the Montalvo canton, thanks to the intervention sessions it was possible to obtain an improvement in the patient, leading to control dysfunctional thoughts. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El abuso sexual es una problemática a nivel mundial que afecta a niños, niñas y adolescentes, como abuso sexual se conoce a todo acto que va desde un constante acoso sexual hasta una violación sexual. Las insinuaciones o propuestas no deseadas son parte del abuso, las personas víctimas de este evento traumático desarrollan consecuencias psicológicas, físicas y sociales. Por tal razón se despierta el sentir de investigar ¿Cuál es la incidencia del abuso sexual en el impacto emocional en una joven de 19 años en el cantón Montalvo? Teniendo como objetivo principal de este estudio de caso determinar la incidencia del abuso sexual y su impacto emocional en una joven con el fin de exponer de qué manera se ve alterada su salud mental. Los signos y síntomas que desarrollo la adolescente conllevan a un cuadro depresivo según los resultados obtenidos en el informe de la historia clínica, donde se establece toda la información relevante para determinar un posible diagnóstico. El estudio de casos se realizó en base al tipo de investigación correlacional, que permitió medir la relación entre las dos variables, con un enfoque de investigación mixto, que junto a las técnicas e instrumentos utilizados como; la entrevista psicológica, test psicométricos, historia clínica, Inventario de depresión de Beck (BDI) Escala de valoración de Hamilton para la evaluación de depresión (HDRS), las mismas que permitieron el desarrollo exitoso de esta investigación. A través de la aplicación de las baterías psicométricas se obtuvo que existe un nivel de depresión moderada en a adolescente a causa de haber suscitado un evento traumático de tal intensidad, todo esto se reafirma con los indicadores expresados por la adolescente mediante su discurso. Se concluye estableciendo la relación que existe entre el abuso sexual y el impacto emoción en la adolescente de 19 años del cantón Montalvo, gracias a las sesiones de intervención se pudo obtener una mejoría del paciente, llevando a controlar los pensamientos disfuncionales. | es_ES |
