The covid-19 pandemic was a period of time of great changes, especially full of uncertainty, and where professionals had to carry out their activities under a level of chronic stress among other characteristics, due to this the present case study aims to In general, to determine the development of Burnout syndrome through the influence of covid-19 in a member of the armed forces, who states that in recent months he feels very tired both physically and mentally, in addition to having problems falling asleep, He has presented irritability, persistent muscle pain, among others. Through the results obtained in the present case study, it was possible to verify that the patient suffered from Burnout syndrome and that, in addition, the covid-19 pandemic was of great influence for the development of the syndrome studied, a great psychological impact due to to the fact that on previous occasions the patient has not presented major symptoms.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl síndrome de Burnout también llamado síndrome de desgaste profesional, es un síndrome psicológico de sobrecarga emocional, coloquialmente es conocido como síndrome del quemado o también nombrado síndrome de fatiga del trabajador fue anunciado, en el periodo 2000, considerado como un factor de riesgo laboral, debido a que posee la capacidad para afectar la salud mental, la calidad de vida de los trabajadores e incluso podría poner en riesgo la vida del individuo que la padece. La pandemia por covid-19 fue un periodo de tiempo de grandes cambios, sobretodo llenos de incertidumbre, y donde los profesionales tuvieron que ejercer sus actividad bajo un nivel de estrés crónico entre otras características, debido a esto el presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo general determinar el desarrollo del síndrome de Burnout mediante la influencia del covid-19 en un miembro de las fuerzas armadas, el cual manifiesta que los últimos meses siente mucho cansancio tanto físico como mental, además de que está pasando por problemas para conciliar el sueño, ha presentado irritabilidad, dolores musculares persistentes entre otros. A través de los resultados obtenidos en el presente estudio de caso se pudo comprobar que el paciente padecía de síndrome de Burnout y que además la pandemia por covid-19 fue de gran influencia para el desarrollo del síndrome estudiado, se evidencia un gran impacto psicológico debido a que en anteriores ocasiones el paciente no ha presentado mayores síntomas.es_ES
