| dc.description | This case study addresses the topic "Post-traumatic stress due to sexual abuse in a child under 10 years of age in the Babahoyo canton" with the aim of identifying how this problem affects the subject of study. Sexual abuse is any action or omission of an older person outside or inside the family circle that involves a minor in activities of a sexual nature, consistent with endangering physical or mental integrity. The dimension of the problem leads to the need to make an assessment of both the risk factors and the effects and sequelae at the cognitive, emotional and behavioral level, which are produced in the minor by such an undesirable experience. For this reason, it is opportune to deal with the commonly used intervention methodology. And for this, this study was developed through psychological instruments and methods such as: observation guides, interviews, tests, Likert, which favored the collection of information. Finally, psychotherapeutic techniques were established based on the Systemic approach with the aim of generating changes in family dynamics, since it is considered that this system must have very close and harmonious affective ties for the patient's evolution. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Este estudio de caso se aborda el tema “Estrés postraumático por abuso sexual en una menor de 10 años del cantón Babahoyo” con el objetivo de identificar como afecta esta problemática al sujeto de estudio. El abuso sexual es cualquier acción u omisión de una persona mayor externa o interna al círculo familiar que involucre a un menor en actividades de índole sexual siendo consistente de poner en peligro la integridad física o mental. La dimensión de la problemática conlleva a la necesidad de hacer una valoración tanto de los factores de riesgo como de los efectos y secuelas al nivel cognitivo, emocional y conductual, que en el menor produce por tal indeseable experiencia. Por esta razón, es oportuno tratar la metodología de intervención comúnmente empleada. Y para ello, este estudio se desarrolló a través de instrumentos y métodos psicológicos tales como: guías de observación, entrevistas, test, Likert, las cuales favorecieron la recopilación de información. Finalmente se establecieron técnicas psicoterapéuticas con base al enfoque Sistémico con el objetivo de generar cambios en la dinámica familiar, pues se considera que este sistema debe tener vínculos afectivos muy cercanos y armoniosos para la evolución de la paciente. | es_ES |
