dc.description | The purpose of this study was to characterize the gastronomic sector of the canton and evaluate the perception of gastronomic tourism in the Quevedo canton and its relationship with the SDGs. The sectors were selected: academia, government and gastronomic entrepreneurs of the canton. Three areas were also analyzed: Social, Economic and Environmental. The questionnaire was applied to 30 experts and the level of perception of each sector was determined using the Likert scale. The results show that the social impacts of gastronomy, the business, government and academic sectors, see it as a strong impact on the development of its tourism sector. The academic, government and business sectors agree that the gastronomy of the Quevedo Canton has a strong impact on the household economy, on the generation of sources of employment and that the gastronomic activity is very profitable. The perception of gastronomic tourism and its relationship with SDGs 8, 12 and 14, it is said that gastronomic tourism works positively as a source of economic growth in the canton. And finally they consider that gastronomy contributes to responsible production and consumption. It is concluded that in the economic reactivation of the locality, local gastronomy is very necessary, for which the local government (Municipality) is needed to provide the necessary resources for the development and strengthening of the sector, through training spaces. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio tuvo como finalidad caracterizar el sector gastronómico del cantón y evaluar la percepción del turismo gastronómico en el cantón Quevedo y su relación con los ODS. Se seleccionaron los sectores: academia, gubernamental y empresarios gastronómico del cantón. Se analizó además tres ámbitos: Social, Económico y ambiental. El cuestionario se aplicó a 30 expertos y mediante la escala de likert se determinó el nivel de percepción de cada sector. Los resultados demuestran que los impactos sociales que tiene la gastronomía, el sector empresarial, gubernamental y la academia, la ven como un impacto fuerte sobre el desarrollo del sector turístico del mismo. El sector académico, gubernamental y empresarial, coinciden en que la gastronomía del Cantón Quevedo tiene un fuerte impacto en la economía de los hogares, en la generación de fuentes de empleo y que la actividad gastronómica es muy rentable. La percepción sobre el turismo gastronómico y su relación con los ODS 8, 12 y 14, se dice que el turismo gastronómico funciona positivamente como una fuente del crecimiento económico del cantón. Y finalmente consideran que la gastronomía aporta a la producción y consumo responsable. Se concluye que en la reactivación económica de la localidad es muy necesaria la gastronomía local, por lo que se necesita que el gobierno local (Municipio) brinde los recursos necesarios para el desarrollo y fortalecimiento del sector, a través de espacios de capacitación. | es_ES |
