dc.description | Rice is a crop of great importance worldwide, in addition to being one of the largest crops in the province of Los Ríos, therefore, its water needs become one of the most important factors in crop management. The present work demonstrates different factors that influence water saving.
The management of water in the cultivation of transplant rice is very demanding, since large amounts of water are used for soil preparation, in addition, in the development a sheet of water is used which farmers are not aware of its technification, Therefore, using a sheet of 5 to 10 centimeters, a large amount of water can be saved without affecting its development and reducing costs in irrigation systems due to excess water.
Factors such as leveling the soil, irrigation system and soil preparation can be one of the main causes that the water resource has losses due to poor management, therefore, it is important to have a level soil with an irrigation system closer to the water source in addition to carrying out mud processes with less water. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El arroz es un cultivo de suma importancia a nivel mundial, además de ser uno de los cultivos de mayor extensión en la provincia de Los Ríos, por ende, sus necesidades hídricas se convierten en uno de los factores más importantes en el manejo del cultivo, el presente trabajo demuestra diferentes factores que influyen en el ahorro del agua.
El manejo el agua en el cultivo de arroz de trasplante es muy demandante, ya que se utiliza grandes cantidades de agua para la preparación del suelo, además en el desarrollo se utiliza una lámina de agua la cual los agricultores no tienen conocimiento de su tecnificación, por lo que utilizando una lámina de 5 a 10 centímetros se puede ahorrar una gran cantidad de agua sin afectar el desarrollo del mismo y disminuyendo costos en sistemas de riego por exceso de agua.
Factores como la nivelación del suelo, sistema de riego y preparación del suelo pueden ser uno de las principales causas que el recurso hídrico tenga perdidas por un mal manejo, por ende, es importante tener un suelo nivelado con un sistema de riego más cercano a la fuente de agua además de realizar procesos de fangeo con menor cantidad de agua | es_ES |
