Convergence insufficiency generates many visual problems in those who suffer from it, the present case deals with a 28-year-old male patient who presents a lack of muscular coordination when focusing on nearby objects. The main symptom that it presents is random movements that cause visual acuity problems such as blurred or double vision. The objective of this case study is to identify the effects of convergence insufficiency in a 28-year-old male patient. Various tests were performed such as retinoscopy, eye fundus, auto refractometer, convergence, visual acuity, among others, in order to prescribe the appropriate optometric treatment. The patient has headache, visual stress, asthenopia, poor vision, reading problems. Visual therapy is prescribed with Brock's Cord, push-up and contact lens methods.
