dc.descriptionThis case study work will be carried out in the city of Babahoyo to carry out a comparative study of the virtual educational platforms in the Higher Education Institutions used in the pandemic in the city of Babahoyo, where the Technological Institute was taken into consideration for this analysis. Babahoyo, the Technical University of Babahoyo and the Uniandes University. The general objective of this research is to compare the use of virtual educational platforms in Higher Education Institutions in the pandemic in the city of Babahoyo. For the development of this topic, a survey was carried out on students of these educational units to find out if the perception of the number of students to be surveyed was 368, the methodology used was descriptive and the type of research was quantitative. The beneficiaries of this work will be the teachers and students, since by using at least one virtual platform, they will be able to improve their academic performance and better enrich themselves with the benefits offered by virtual platforms. The use of high-quality virtual environments is very important, but not enough, not only to convert the space occupied by traditional classrooms into virtual classrooms, to convert printed books into electronic documents, in times of pandemic virtual digital platforms were the alternatives that higher educational institutions used to continue with the teaching and learning of students This work is aligned with the research lines of information and communication systems, entrepreneurship and innovation, and the subline is networks and intelligent software and hardware technologies.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de estudio de caso se realizará en la ciudad de Babahoyo para realizar un estudio comparativo de las plataformas virtuales educativas en las Instituciones de educación Superiores utilizadas en la pandemia en la ciudad de Babahoyo en donde para este análisis se tomó en consideración el Instituto Tecnológico Babahoyo, la Universidad Técnica De Babahoyo y la Universidad Uniandes. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo general Comparar el uso de las plataformas virtuales educativas en las Instituciones de Educación Superiores en la pandemia en la ciudad de Babahoyo. Para el desarrollo de este tema se realizaron encuesta a estudiantes de estas unidades educativas para saber si percepción el número de los estudiantes a encuestar fueron de 368 la metodología que se usó fue descriptiva y el tipo de investigación fue cuantitativo Los beneficiarios de este trabajo serán los docentes y estudiantes ya que al utilizar al menos una plataforma virtual, podrán mejorar su rendimiento académico y enriquecerse mejor con los beneficios que brindan las plataformas virtuales. El uso de entornos virtuales de alta calidad es muy importante, pero no suficiente, no solo para convertir el espacio que ocupan las aulas tradicionales en aulas virtuales, para convertir libros impresos en documentos electrónicos, en tiempos de pandemia las plataformas digitales virtuales fueron las alternativas que las instituciones educativas superiores utilizaron para continuar con la enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes.
