Proceso atención de enfermería en lactante mayor con gastroenteritis.

| dc.description | Gastroenteritis is inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, in the pediatric age may have its origin in: viruses such as rotavirus (most common etiologic agent of acute gastroenteritis in children) adenoviruses, enteroviruses, astroviruses, caliciviruses. Bacteria: salmonella, campylobacter, parasites: giardia lamblia. The most frequent symptoms are diarrhea in the increase of stools of lesser consistency, accompanied by fever, vomiting and colic abdominal pain. The present case study was carried out based on an older infant with gastroenteritis, in the pediatric area of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro General Hospital in the City of Guaranda, Province of Bolívar, Period May 2021- April 2022. The older infant presented nausea accompanied by vomiting after admission, in moderate amount of food content led to thermal rise, not quantified and abdominal pain of mild intensity that is radiated to the hypogastrium. The hospitalization time of the older infant was four days, a factor that allowed an adequate follow-up to evaluate the productivity of the nursing care process, especially those focused on aspects related to prophylaxis, prevention, execution of Nursing care. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La Gastroenteritis es la inflamación del tracto gastrointestinal, en la edad pediátrica puede tener su origen en: virus como el rotavirus (agente etiológico más frecuente de la gastroenteritis aguda en niños) adenovirus, enterovirus, astrovirus, calicivirus. Bacterias: salmonella, campylobacter, parásitos: gardia lamblia, la clínica más frecuente es la diarrea en el aumento de deposiciones de menor consistencia, acompañada de fiebre, vómitos y dolor abdominal cólico. El presente estudio de caso se realizó en base a un lactante mayor con gastroenteritis, en el área de pediatría del Hospital General Alfredo Noboa Montenegro de la Cuidad de Guaranda, Provincia de Bolívar, Periodo mayo 2021- abril 2022. El lactante mayor presento nauseas acompañadas en lo posterior a su ingreso un vómito en moderada cantidad de contenido alimentario conducida de alza térmica, no cuantificada y dolor abdominal de leve intensidad que es radiado a hipogastrio. El tiempo de hospitalización del lactante mayor fue de cuarto días, factor que permitió un acompañamiento adecuado para evaluar la productividad del proceso atención de enfermería, especialmente aquellos enfocados en los aspectos relacionados con la profilaxis, prevención, ejecución de los cuidados de Enfermería. | es_ES |
