| dc.description | The contamination constitutes one of the most serious environmental problems around the world. Many factors contribute to the aggravation of this situation. One of the most alarming is the use of pesticides for the control of insect pests in agricultural crops.

Agricultural workers are exposed to the effects of these aerial spraying. Many times due to ignorance and other negligence of them and their heads. In addition, the lack of training to farmers for the management, implementation and provision of the agrochemicals and food containers next to the correct disposal of waste of the spraying and the breach of the rules of protection, aggravates the problem.
Through this work was carried out a survey to a representative sample of agricultural workers of the Hacienda Cerritos with the aim of determining the degree of incidence of the aerial spraying in the epidermic diseases in farm workers working in the finance of the Canton of Los Cerritos Pueblo Viejo, in the first half of 2013.

| dc.description.abstract | a contaminación constituye uno de los graves problemas ambientales en todo el mundo. Numerosos factores contribuyen al agravamiento de esta situación. Uno de los más alarmantes es el uso de pesticidas para el control de plagas en los cultivos agrícolas.
Los trabajadores agrícolas se exponen constantemente a los efectos de estas aspersiones aéreas. Muchas veces por desconocimiento y otras por negligencia de ellos y sus jefes. Además, la falta de capacitación a los agricultores para el manejo, aplicación y disposición de los agroquímicos y los recipientes que los contienen junto a la correcta eliminación de los residuos de las aspersiones y el incumplimiento de las normas de protección, agravan el problema.
Mediante el presente trabajo se realizó un estudio a una muestra representativa de trabajadores agrícolas de la Hacienda Los Cerritos con el objetivo de determinar el grado de incidencia de las fumigaciones aéreas en las enfermedades epidérmicas, en los trabajadores agrícolas que laboran en la hacienda Los Cerritos del Cantón Pueblo Viejo, en el primer semestre del 2013.
La mayoría de los encuestados señalaron que una de las causas por las cuales presentan enfermedades cutáneas es la falta de conocimiento sobre las medidas de protección y el daño que producen los plaguicidas a la salud humana. | es_ES |
