This clinical case study refers to the nursing care process in an 18-year-old patient who underwent cholecystectomy with post-surgical complications. Virginia Henderson's conceptual model on human needs and development was applied, which allows assessing the patient, recognizing signs and symptoms of infection and establish a diagnosis. Becoming a support model to describe the dysfunctionality of functional patterns and nursing care techniques established in the NANDA, NOC, NIC taxonomy in patients with infected post-surgical wounds. Cholelithiasis in health, we usually know it as gallstones or gallstones, this refers to the creation of lithium in the bile ducts, even more so in the gallbladder. They are increases in solid material that can be small, like grit, or sometimes large, that cover the gallbladder. Surgical complications, especially those caused by cholelithiasis, are very frequent; The number of patients at risk of morbidity due to complications such as perforations is significant. Sepsis, or wall obsession prior to the surgical technique. The surgical wound due to cholelithiasis is currently one of the causes of morbidity in Ecuador as in other countries. In 2018, Ecuador presented a morbidity rate that was the first cause in men and women with cholelithiasis, 30,526 registered cases.es_ES
