| dc.description | The present case study is focused on exposing the situation that an adult over 75 years of age from the Guaranda gerontological center is going through due to family abandonment and what are the consequences on the emotional state. In which the consequences of family abandonment in an adult over 75 years of age on her emotional state will be investigated. Considering that the elderly are going through a stage of vulnerability in which they degenerate and lose individual autonomy, for which family support becomes a primary factor for the care and conservation of the elderly since it is found in many of the occasions in danger for different reasons and in many of them it is due to the abandonment of their relatives for not knowing how to deal with their older adult. For the investigation and data collection of this case study, a mixed approach method will be used, using techniques such as: clinical interview, clinical observation, application of psychometric tests with the sole purpose of collecting data relevant to the present problem. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso está centrado en describir la situación que atraviesa un adulto mayor de 75 años de edad del centro gerontológico de Guaranda a partir del abandono familiar y cuáles son las consecuencias en el estado emocional. En el cual se va a investigar las consecuencias que produce el abandono familiar en un adulto mayor de 75 años de edad en su estado emocional. Considerando que el adulto mayor se encuentra atravesando por una etapa de vulnerabilidad en la cual se va degenerando y perdiendo autonomía individual, por lo cual el apoyo familiar se convierte en un factor primordial para el cuidado y conservación del adulto mayor ya que se encuentra en muchas de las ocasiones en peligro por distintas causas y en muchas de ellas es debido al abandono de sus familiares por no saber cómo tratar con su adulto mayor. Para la investigación y obtención de datos de este estudio de caso se trabajará con método de enfoque mixto, utilizando técnicas tales como: la entrevista clínica, observación directa, aplicación de test psicométricos con el único fin de recopilar datos relevantes a la problemática presente. | es_ES |
