dc.descriptionThis case study focused on the issue of intrafamily child abuse and its influence on the behavior of a 12-year-old resident of the El Empalme canton, which was based on the use of psychometric tests that provided the necessary information for the elaboration. of this case. Therefore, a presumptive diagnosis of Behavioral Disorder could be given, since the patient is a victim of intrafamily child abuse, which has affected his lifestyle, impacting the interpersonal and family social area, which is why cognitive behavioral therapy is altered. through which the desired behaviors will be reinforced, and those maladaptive of the patient will be eliminated. Within this case study, the mixed research methodology was offered for the analysis and description of the problem, which was accompanied by psychological and diagnostic application techniques such as the observation sheet, the interview and the psychological clinical history. Therefore, a presumptive psychodiagnosis could be given as a behavioral disorder since living in a dysfunctional family environment and submitting to intrafamily abuse affected their lifestyle, impacting all their areas of development, so cognitive behavioral therapy lasts. through which the management of self-control will be improved in addition to increasing their ability to solve problems and their communication skills.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso se enfocó en el tema abuso infantil intrafamiliar y su influencia en la conducta de un niño de 12 años residente del cantón El Empalme, el cual se dio en base al uso de pruebas psicométricas que facilitaron información necesaria para la elaboración de este caso. Por lo cual se pudo dar un diagnóstico presuntivo como Trastorno de Conducta ya que el paciente es víctima de abuso infantil intrafamiliar lo cual ha afectado a su estilo de vida repercutiendo en el área social interpersonal y familiar, por lo que se consideró la terapia cognitivo conductual mediante la cual se logró reforzar las conductas deseables, y eliminando aquellas desadaptativas del paciente. Dentro de este estudio de caso se utilizó la metodología de investigación mixta para el análisis y descripción del problema la cual se acompañó de técnicas de aplicación psicológicas y diagnosticas como la ficha de observación, la entrevista y la historia clínica psicológica. Por lo cual se pudo dar un psicodiagnóstico presuntivo como trastorno de conducta ya que al convivir en un ambiente familiar disfuncional y someterse al abuso intrafamiliar afecto a su estilo de vida repercutiendo en todas sus áreas de desarrollo, por lo que se consideró la terapia cognitiva conductual mediante la cual se logró el manejo del autocontrol además de aumentar su capacidad de resolver problemas y sus habilidades de comunicación.es_ES
