| dc.description | The present case study was developed with a problem of suicidal behaviors in a adolescent from the Province of Los Ríos in the Vinces Canton. The symptoms reflected by the adolescent have been presented with greater incidence in the cognitive area due to distorted thoughts that affect him in his social environment. In the collection of information, techniques such as the semi-structured interview, clinical history and the Beck depression inventory test were used to obtain a presumptive diagnosis, in addition, techniques of the cognitive behavioral model were applied, which helped to detect distorted thoughts of the patient to modify these thoughts, being these techniques of cognitive restructuring. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso se desarrolló con una problemática de conductas suicidas, en un adolescente de la Provincia de los Ríos en el Cantón Vinces. Los síntomas que refleja el adolescente se han presentado con mayor incidencia en el área cognitivo debido a los pensamientos distorsionados que le afectan en su entorno social. En la recopilación de información se utilizó técnicas como la entrevista semi estructurada, la historia clínica y el test de inventario de depresión de Beck para poder obtener de este modo un diagnóstico presuntivo, además, se aplicaron técnicas del modelo cognitivo conductual, mediante las cuales ayudaron a detectar pensamientos distorsionados del paciente para modificar esos pensamientos siendo estas técnicas de reestructuración cognitiva. | es_ES |
