dc.description | Nosocomial pneumonia is one of the most common contaminations that occurs in hospitalized patients. The increase in the incidence of NN caused by multiresistant microorganisms also causes an increase in the incidence of inappropriate empirical antibiotic procedure that is associated with an increase in the risk of destruction of patients. Intensive care and local antimicrobial tenderness patterns to minimize the incidence of inappropriate antibiotic procedure and optimize the prognosis of those suffered. In this case we will see a 55-year-old male patient who goes to the emergency room for symptoms with 6 days of evolution, cough, yellowish sputum, temperature rise, wheezing, general malaise, chills and dyspnea, the patient is overweight, when meeting clinical criteria that make suspect nosocomial pneumonia, he is admitted to perform the pertinent tests in addition to monitoring his parameters. Like the EPINE article in its background relating to 2011, the prevalence of nosocomial contamination was more than 6% of those suffered. Among the most common infections in the hospital area, nosocomial pneumonia (NP) is the second highest incidence nosocomial infection, after urinary contamination and, according to certain authors, associated with increased mortality. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
