This is a 43-year-old male patient, who attended the medical consultation due to pain in the right hypochondrium, general malaise, fever, coluria, nausea and vomiting. After clinical evaluation and diagnostic tests, Hepatitis was diagnosed. viral A positive. Additionally, the patient is overweight. In response to nutritional treatment, the Nutritional Care Process was applied through which the patient's nutritional assessment was carried out through the analysis of their body composition, biochemical data, and food consumption. The nutritional diagnosis reported a patient with Hepatitis A and overweight, with a BMI of 27.3kg/m2 equivalent to overweight, with increased cardiovascular risk according to their abdominal perimeter, dyslipidemia, increased food consumption that is associated with poor eating habits, tobacco consumption, and alcohol of the patient. A dietary regimen of 2,000 kcal per day, normocarbonated//normoprotein//hypofat// high in fiber//divided into 5 meals a day, is prescribed, focused on treating underlying pathologies and preserving good health; It is expected that the patient tolerates the recommended eating plan in order to achieve the proposed objectives and, in turn, improve the quality of life of the patient with hepatitis A and overweight.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLos trastornos como el exceso de peso, obesidad y Hepatitis A, son entidades mórbidas que pueden coexistir en un mismo individuo causando diversas manifestaciones clínicas y de magnitud variable, como es el evento que se aborda en este estudio de caso. Se trata de un paciente de sexo masculino de 43 años de edad, que acudió a la consulta médica por presentar dolor en hipocondrio derecho, malestar general, fiebre, coluria, náuseas y vómitos que luego de la valoración clínica y pruebas diagnósticas se le diagnostico Hepatitis viral A positivo. Adicional el paciente presenta sobrepeso. Dando respuesta al tratamiento nutricional, se aplicó el Proceso de Atención Nutricional a través del cual se llevó a cabo la valoración nutricional del paciente por medio del análisis de su composición corporal, datos bioquímicos, consumo alimentario. El diagnostico nutricional reporto a paciente con Hepatitis A y sobrepeso, con IMC de 27.3kg/m2 equivalente a sobrepeso, con riesgo cardiovascular incrementado según su perímetro abdominal, dislipidemia, consumo alimentario incrementado que se asocia a malos hábitos alimentarios, al consumo de tabaco, y alcohol del paciente. Se prescribe un régimen dietético de 2000 kcal al día, normocarbonatada//normoproteica//hipograsa// alta en fibra //fraccionadas en 5 comidas al día, focalizada a tratar patologías de base y preservar un buen estado de salud; se espera que el paciente tolere el plan de alimentación recomendado con la finalidad de lograr cumplir con los objetivos propuestos a su vez mejorar la calidad de vida del paciente con hepatitis A y sobrepeso.es_ES
