| dc.description | This case study, a prerequisite for a systems engineering career, is oriented towards the ISO Standards for information security in the IT area of SMEs, since the vast majority of organizations have standards that allow them to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability. ISO Standards are considered as a set of tools of great importance in companies and although it is a resource which is still being updated, without a doubt with its use the optimization of the processes of an organization can be achieved to establish advantages. Likewise, efforts have been made by professionals using explanatory research methods, in order to delve into the necessary aspects to strengthen the present investigation and thus ensure that the field investigation of this case has the necessary technical guarantees, in addition to this case study contains theoretical information from reliable sources to support the author's point of view. In addition, this document has the corresponding annexes in which the participation of the respondents is recorded. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Este caso de estudio, requisito previo para la carrera de ingeniería en sistemas, se orienta a las Normas ISO de la seguridad de la información en el área de TI de las pymes, ya que la gran mayoría de las organizaciones cuentan con estándares que les permiten mantener la confidencialidad, integridad y disponibilidad. Las Normas ISO son consideradas como un conjunto de herramientas de suma importancia en las empresas y aunque es un recurso el cual aún se encuentra en actualización, sin duda con su uso se puede lograr la optimización de los procesos de una organización para establecer ventajas. Asimismo, se han realizado gestiones por parte de profesionales utilizando métodos de investigación explicativa, con el fin de profundizar en los aspectos necesarios para fortalecer la presente investigación y así lograr que este caso de estudio cuente con las garantías técnicas necesarias, además este estudio de caso contiene información teórica de fuentes confiables para apoyar el punto de vista del autor.
