| dc.description | The present work focused on the analysis and design of a network and management infrastructure for a project with video surveillance in the "Santa Rita" citadel of the Vinces canton. The research focused on video surveillance systems as security devices whose objective is control, as well as correct remote and real-time supervision of different areas through the use of multiple strategically placed cameras. Citizen insecurity was taken as the axis of investigation, since this is a problem that affects the entire country, among the factors that influenced the increase in criminal activities is drug use, and the covid-19 pandemic where there was a boom in unemployment cases, and therefore this affects the economic stability of people, which is why people opted for easier solutions to increase their economic income. In the "Santa Rita" citadel of the Vinces canton, there have been acts of insecurity such as robberies, assaults, intrusion into homes, sometimes drug users, among others. Through field research, it was possible to determine the current situation of the citadel and through a bibliographical review in different research sources, the results of implementing video surveillance systems in neighborhood areas were determined, as well as the influence of the design of the infrastructure of network for the proper functioning of security systems. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo se enfocó en el análisis y diseño de una infraestructura de redes y gestión para un proyecto con videovigilancia en la ciudadela “Santa Rita” del cantón Vinces”. La investigación se centró en los sistemas de videovigilancia como dispositivos de seguridad cuyo objetivo es el control, así como una correcta supervisión remota y en tiempo real de diferentes áreas a través del uso de múltiples cámaras colocadas estratégicamente. Se tomó como eje de investigación la inseguridad ciudadana, ya que este es un problema que afecta a todo el pais, entre los factores que incidieron en el incremento de las actividades delictivas se encuentra el consumo de drogas, y la pandemia de covid-19 donde se dio un auge de los casos de desempleo, y por ende esto afecta la estabilidad económica de las personas motivo por el cual las personas optaron por soluciones más fáciles para incrementar sus ingresos económicos. En la ciudadela “Santa Rita” del cantón Vinces se han suscitado hechos de inseguridad como robos, asaltos, intrusión a hogares, en ocasiones se suele encontrar con personas consumidoras de drogas, entre otras. Por medio de la investigación de campo se pudo determinar la situación actual de la ciudadela y a través de la revisión bibliográfica en diferentes fuentes de investigación se determinó los resultados de implementar sistemas de videovigilancia en zonas barriales, así como la influencia del diseño de la infraestructura de red para el correcto funcionamiento de los sistemas de seguridad. | es_ES |
