dc.descriptionPre-eclampsia (O149) is a type of hypertensive disorder that presents from the 20th week of pregnancy or after delivery and can be the cause of numerous maternal deaths. Therefore, the clinical case is presented in a 28-year-old patient with a 35-week pregnancy, which was carried out at the HOSPITAL NICOLAS COTO INFANTE. Detailing in the present case, the handling and methods used, adequately to reach a definitive diagnosis. As it is, maternal-fetal monitoring, control of vital signs, ultrasound, laboratory tests, hospital admission and referral to a more complex unit. Therefore, following the case, we can note the performance and professional ethics, with which this process was carried out following the indications of the clinical practice guidelines as well as the professional experience with the objective of keeping both lives stable and avoiding maternal deaths.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa preeclampsia (O149) es un tipo de trastorno hipertensivo que se presenta a partir de la semana 20 del embarazo o después del parto y puede ser causante de numerosas muertes maternas. Por lo consiguiente se expone el caso clínico en paciente de 28 años de edad con embarazo de 35 semanas, el cual se llevó a cabo en el HOSPITAL NICOLAS COTO INFANTE. Detallando en el presente caso, los manejos y métodos utilizados, adecuadamente para llegar a un diagnóstico definitivo. Como lo es, monitoreo materno fetal, control de signos vitales, ecografías, exámenes de laboratorio, ingreso hospitalario y derivación a unidad de mayor complejidad. Por lo que siguiendo el caso podemos notar el desempeño y la ética profesional, con la que se llevó este proceso siguiendo las indicaciones de las guías de prácticas clínicas al igual que la experiencia profesional con el objetivo de mantener estables ambas vidas y evitar muertes maternas.es_ES
