| dc.description | This casedtudy is base don the análisis of the variation in import prices of the company IVMA Importer, which is dedicated to the import and sale of agricultural products. The Price variations are a result of the global crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, a reasons that resulted in the paralysis of national and international trade and subsequent cost increases. The problems that exist in the entity from said increase are several, however, ensuring the service affered to society leads to having top ay the excessive costs of imports. Importers were also affected by increases in freight rates and delays in the arrival of containers at seaports, as a result of the hingh demand for products and the Flow of containers. The logistics of the seaports was also one of the triggers for the delay of the merchandise, accompained by the lack of personnel due to the health crisis due to the covid-19 pandemic and biosecutity measures. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso esta basado en el análisis de la variación de precios de importación de la empresa IVMA Importer, que se dedica a la importación y venta de productos agrícolas. Las variaciones de precios son un resultado de la crisis mundial causada por la pandemia Covid-19, motivo que tuvo como consecuencia la paralización del comercio nacional e internacional y posteriormente los incrementos de costos. Las problemáticas que existen en la entidad a partir de dicho incremento son varias, sin embargo, asegurar el servicio que se ofrece a la sociedad conlleva a tener que pagar los costos excesivos de las importaciones. Los importadores también se vieron afectados por los incrementos de los valores de los fletes y los retrasos en la llegada de los contenedores a los puertos marítimos, esto como consecuencia de la alta demanda de productos y el flujo de contenedores. La logística de los puertos marítimos fue también una de las partes detonantes para que se dé el retraso de la mercadería, acompañada con la falta de personal debido a la crisis sanitaria debido a la pandemia del covid-19 y las medidas de bioseguridad. | es_ES |
