dc.description | Preeclampsia is one of the most common complications in pregnant women, it is characterized by hypertension, accompanied by edema in the lower and upper limbs, proteinuria. These symptoms usually appear within 20 weeks or the fifth month of gestation. In some cases, preeclampsia has no symptoms, hypertension can occur slightly, which is why prenatal check-ups and constant blood pressure measurement are very important. When seizures and symptoms of the CNS (Central Nervous System) occur, such as intense headache, scotomas, we are in the presence of Eclampsia, which is one of the most critical complications, where the mother-child binomial is exposed and even contributes to maternal and infant mortality. In this virtue, prenatal control and early identification of clinical symptoms and proper management, prioritizing prevention measures, are relevant. Timely medical diagnosis contributes with the most effective measures to reduce the mortality rate caused by this disease. Applying the Nursing Care Process and the investigations of this clinical case study, it was possible to promote care and scientific care that allows nurse-patient interaction to prevent and reduce the problems that this disease can cause. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
