dc.descriptionAcute pyelonephritis is an inflammatory process that involves the invasion and multiplication of microorganisms in the urinary tract. Its clinical picture is characterized by pain in the hypogastrium, lumbar area, thermal rise, and chills, once the diagnosis is confirmed by means of urine cultures or other tests it is necessary to start treatment with antibiotics. The present case study was carried out at the Basic Hospital of Playas in a 14-year-old adolescent with a diagnosis of acute pyelonephritis, through the information collected through the patient's anamnesis, the nursing care process was applied, in its different stages: assessment, diagnosis, planning, execution and evaluation. The patient was followed up for five days after the evaluation and control from the beginning of the antibiotic treatment, where the nursing care plan and interventions that favored the prompt recovery of the patient were applied.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa pielonefritis aguda es un proceso inflamatorio que involucra la invasión y multiplicación de microorganismo en el tracto urinario, Su cuadro clínico se caracteriza por presentar dolor en el hipogastrio, zona lumbar, alza térmica, y escalofríos, una vez comprobado el diagnóstico mediante uro-cultivos u otras pruebas es necesario iniciar el tratamiento con antibióticos. El presente estudio de caso se llevó a cabo en el Hospital Básico de Playas en una adolescente de 14 años con diagnóstico de pielonefritis aguda, por medio de la información recogida mediante la anamnesis del paciente, se aplicó el proceso de atención de enfermería, en sus diferentes etapas: valoración, diagnostico, planeación, ejecución y evaluación. Se realizó el seguimiento a la paciente durante cinco días tras la evaluación y control desde el inicio del tratamiento con antibióticos, donde se aplicó el plan de cuidado enfermería e intervenciones que favorecieron a la pronta recuperación de la paciente.es_ES
