Elaboración de humus de lombriz utilizando cuatro fuentes de materia orgánica, para mejorar el contenido nutricional del suelo. Imbabura, 2010.
Abstract
The proper management of soil fertility, constitutes an essential element for the development of sustainable agriculture, and even more small producers need to know and apply alternative techniques to ensure a quality production and with low costs. Faced with this scenario, the development of this research in the Community "Puerto Alegre" in the Parish Eugenio Espejo of Otavalo whose purpose was to encourage the production of earthworm humus (Eisenia foetida) through the use of four types of substrates and set the contents of macro- and microelements.
To get to know the content of macro and microelements of the humus obtained is proceeded to make four treatments with three of them used manure from animals and in the fourth was used vegetable wastes of wheat. In each of the treatments was measured the time required for the production of humus; the increase in the population of the red worm californian, and, once developed the humus was established the nutritional content in each treatment.
