Chronic Renal Insufficiency is defined as a catastrophic disease, being more prevalent in patients with Arterial Hypertension or Diabetes Mellitus, which is specified as temporary or permanent damage to the renal system, one of the main treatments being renal replacement through dialysis therapies or kidney transplantation . The following clinical study is composed with educational or learning approaches for the nursing professional, where a patient with a diagnosis of stage v chronic kidney disease will be exposed, whose objective will be to apply the nursing care process in patients with kidney problems that turn out to be chronic or the source of short and long-term complications in patients with chronic kidney disease, using the different methods for data collection where the problems were identified fulfilling our objective where the nurse provides care that counteracts the needs presented by the patient during the study clinical. We conclude that when preparing the care plans, the needs and symptoms that he presented were included, improving his state of health and comfort, supporting him in moments of concern and anxiety, educating the patient about adapting to his lifestyle by carrying out the therapy. renal replacement therapy, along with family care in helping to comply with medical treatment.es_ES
