dc.descriptionThe present study deals with a 39-year-old female patient with gestational diabetes and overweight, with 20 weeks of gestation. Taking into account that it is a high-risk pregnancy due to gestational diabetes and being overweight, there are various complications, both in the mother and in the child. During the course of the development of the clinical case, the nutritional status of the patient was determined through anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary methods, giving as initial diagnosis preconception BMI overweight and gestational diabetes. Given this, a diet plan is prescribed, according to the pathophysiological conditions and nutritional needs of the patient. Nutritional follow-up of one month is given and the general objective of the present study was achieved.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio trata de un paciente femenino de 39 años de edad con diabetes gestación y sobrepeso, con 20 semanas de gestación. Teniendo en cuenta que es un embarazo de alto riesgo debido a la diabetes gestacional y el sobrepeso, existe diversas complicaciones, tanto en la madre como en el hijo. Durante el transcurso del desarrollo del caso clínico se determinó del estado nutricional del paciente a través de los métodos antropométrico, bioquímico, clínico y dietético, dando como diagnóstico inicial IMC preconcepcional sobrepeso y diabetes gestacional. Ante esto se prescribe un plan de alimentación, de acuerdo a sus condiciones fisiopatológicas y necesidades nutricionales del paciente. Se da seguimiento nutricional de un mes y se logró el objetivo general del presente estudio.es_ES
