dc.descriptionThe present case study is about a 23-year-old female patient who shows problems in her visual health that affect her daily activities. These are caused by anisometric amblyopia. It has a difference of 2 diopters between one eye and another. The objective is to implement a visual therapy treatment and monitor its evolution. In methodology, the analysis of the clinical history was applied, several tests were applied to assess: Visual Acuity, Refraction, stereopsis biomicroscopy, binocularity, convergence. He is referred to an ophthalmologist to perform a diagnostic check and rule out other conditions. Visual therapy with patches was prescribed and the patient limited cell phone / laptop use during the treatment time. Additional weekly controls to verify evolution.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente caso de estudio es sobre una paciente femenina de 23 años que muestra problemas en su salud visual que afectan a sus actividades diarias. Estas son causadas por una ambliopía anisometropica. Presenta una diferencia de 2 dioptrías entre un ojo y otro. El objetivo es implementar un tratamiento de terapia visual y realizar un seguimiento a la evolución de este. En metodología se aplicó el análisis del historial clínico, se aplicaron varios exámenes para valorar: Agudeza Visual, Refracción, biomicroscopia estereopsis, binocularidad, convergencia. Se deriva a oftalmólogo para realizar comprobación de diagnóstico y descartar otras afecciones. Se prescribió terapia visual con parches y que la paciente limite el uso de celular/laptop durante el tiempo de tratamiento. Adicional controles semanales para verificar evolución.es_ES
