| dc.description | The present clinical case refers to the health status of a 45-year-old patient who has been diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia. The approach to the patient begins through the different diagnoses, starting mainly with an anamnesis to later perform the different tests that help us determine the pathology and therapeutic treatment. Pneumonia an infection that inflames the alveolar sacs of the lungs, they can fill with fluid or pus, this can cause various symptoms such as cough, fever, difficulty breathing, etc. This can be caused by various microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses. There are different factors that influence the triggering of community-acquired pneumonia, among the main ones we have: habits, age, social and pathological factors. Invasive mechanical ventilation plays a very important role, it is for this reason that it is characterized as the main therapeutic resource in the presence of severe signs and symptoms that compromise the respiratory system. The objective of this case study is to explain the various risk factors influencing CAP (Community Acquired Pneumonia), as well as to define the different respiratory therapy cares that provide the patient with a favorable evolution in their health status. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente caso clínico hace referencia al estado de salud de un paciente de 45 años de edad que ha sido diagnosticado con neumonía adquirida en la comunidad. Se inicia el abordaje del paciente por medio de los diagnósticos, iniciando principalmente con una anamnesis para posterior realizar las diferentes pruebas que nos ayudan a determinar la patología y el tratamiento terapéutico. La neumonía una infección que inflama los sacos alveolares de los pulmones, se pueden llenar de líquido o pus, esto puede provocar diversos síntomas como por ejemplo tos, fiebre, dificultad para respirar, etc. Esto puede ser provocado por diversos microorganismos como bacterias, hongos, y virus. Son diferentes los factores que influyen en el desencadenamiento de la neumonía adquirida en la comunidad, entre los principales tenemos: hábitos, edad, factores sociales, y patológicos. La ventilación mecánica invasiva juega un papel muy importante, es por esta razón que se la caracteriza como principal recurso terapéutico ante la presencia de signos y síntomas severos que comprometen el sistema respiratorio. El objetivo de este estudio de caso es explicar los diversos factores de riesgo influyentes en la NAC (Neumonía Adquirida en la Comunidad), así como también definir los diferentes cuidados de terapia respiratoria que brinden al paciente una evolución favorable en su estado de salud. | es_ES |
