Bronchial asthma is a disease characterized by the exaggerated reaction of the trachea-bronchial tree to certain stimuli, resulting in a diffuse narrowing of the trachea, which is related to an excessive contraction of the bronchial smooth muscle, excessive secretion of mucus and mucous edema. And it is spontaneous or reversible by medication. For the correct management of patients with this disease, a correct clinical assessment of their symptoms and signs that patients present must be carried out, in addition, complementary tests must be carried out to give an accurate diagnosis. It has been shown how important respiratory therapists are in patients with this disease, and with the completion of this work the objectives set forth in it are met, which was to apply a treatment according to the clinical picture presented by the patient with bronchial asthma. In addition, it is expected that this work will serve as a guide for health professionals, to know even more about this pathology since in our country around 100,000 inhabitants suffer from this disease and it is one of the main reasons for consultation in health homes. Correct and adequate management in patients with this disease will prevent their signs and symptoms from worsening, that is why patients with this disease must have adequate control with a treatment which is consistent with the severity of their bronchial asthma, and must also comply with all the recommendations that your doctor indicates.es_ES
