dc.description | The present clinical case analyzes a 31-week pregnant woman with pulmonary sepsis who attended the emergency service of the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital accompanied by her mother around midnight due to symptoms such as cough, dyspnea, chronic fatigue and moderate-intensity abdominal pain. It is worth mentioning that the patient was transferred from the Chillanes Hospital for worsening her clinical picture, since she did not obtain satisfactory results with the administration of an analgesic termofin to relieve mild-moderate pain. The objective of the case is to apply the nursing care process through the study of the patient's medical history in order to improve the altered functional patterns. The examinations performed are physical, blood, X-rays and ultrasound, the results indicate dyspnea, insomnia, in addition to alterations in vital signs, reasons for which, the respective treatment is applied which consists of: a more liquid balanced diet, absolute rest, control of edema and vital signs C/12H, fetal monitoring, clindamycin 900 mg, oxygen per whisker at 3 liters, nebulizations with ipatropium bromide 1ml plus 2cc of saline C/6H. During the controls the patient presented pain at the hypogastric level accompanied by nausea, uterine contractions, disorientation and drowsiness, tachynean episode, deterioration of gas exchange, oxygen saturation. The interventions carried out were satisfactory, however, the patient was transferred to another health home due to the fact that there is no Intensive Care Unit or Neonatology available in the hospital. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
